Quiet Cool ES-6000 RF Whole House Fan
The QC ES-6000 RF uses a unique, patented design that uses an acoustical duct attached to an R5 damper box. The result is almost zero noise vibration and whisper quiet operation. As well, the QC ES-6000 RF uses the innovative ECM energy saver motor that uses hardly any power while moving extreme amounts of air. The QuietCool QC ES-6000 RF is designed to be installed centrally in large homes. Simply open a window when you get home from work, flip on the QuietCool and enjoy a peaceful and cool evening relaxing.
The motor on this whole house fan hangs from the rafters in the attic with a small ceiling cut-out for the air intake grille (14 in. x 36 in. ceiling cut-out). This whole house fan will cover 1859 to 2788 square feet based on the recommendation of moving 2 CFM per square foot.
Installation is simple with no framing or joist-cutting required (fits 16 or 24 on-center). Generally speaking a basic installation should only take an hour or two. The R5 damper box at the ceiling level helps insulate the home from the attic during the cold times of the year when the fan is off. If two-speed operation is required, the fan does need to be hardwired.
