Quiet Cool CL-3100 Whole House Fan
The QC CL-3100 is a ducted inline whole house fan that moves 3126 cubic feet of air per minute on high.
The primary benefit of the QC CL-3100 is that it operates quietly. Instead of resting on the ceiling of your living space like a traditional ceiling mounted whole house fan, it is suspended in the attic from the rafters which helps cut down on the noise. It also includes acoustical insulated flex duct to keep the noise from the fan you hear in your house to a minimum.
Installing this whole house fan is also very easy. You use the included template to easily install the grill which can be mounted vertically or horizontally. A line cord is included with this fan for easy plug-in operation. The QC 3100 also has a built-in gravity damper which prevents air from entering your living area.

Control Options: Off the shelf, the QC 3100 comes equipped with a standard 120 VAC line cord. This will allow the fan to run at full power either via optional remote kit, or standard on/off switch.
The QC 3100 is capable of operating in a two speed mode, this requires a hardwired installation as well as a 3-way wall switch. For specific wiring information, see the Quiet Cool 3100 installation manual.
